Describing this world class display as magnificient and jaw dropping is an understatement. Never in our 60+ years have we ever seen or expected to see such brillant work from such an astonishing skilled craftsman.

Must stop incredible museum and shop. This museum and wood gallery is a hidden gem filled with history and passion of its owner John Ablett. The small fee to enter this museum is worth every cent and if John happens to be there the information will flow. Make sure you make the stop to check this amazing place out.

Too Good to Miss - This is one of the best and most informative museums I have been to. The selection and variety of memorabilia is second to none in Australia. Great atmosphere and John knows his History well- he is articulate and interesting. Well worth the trip.

Brilliant - If you have an interest in all things made of timber, this is a must see attraction. John Ablett is a very talented man, and a character to talk with. His knowledge of wartime events and history is amazing. I was extremely impressed with the museum

(a small 5 dollars to enter). Please don't miss this it's awesome.

Very talented and worth the visit. We were very impressed with the level of workmanship here. Just so talented and what a great place to take home a souvenir and grab that special gift for someone.

Awesome - This gallery is just amazing, John is very talented. Lots of great pieces to select. The best part is the museum at the back of the gallery pay the money such great history. John was very good with our son telling him all about guns and his family, the wars, Indians, our son was just fascinated with everything John was telling him. What a great collection he has well worth it. It's good to see someone so passionate in what he is doing. The Gallipoli display is great and to hear about people that John tells you about it gets you thinking more about the diggers. Well done John.

What a gem! - Really enjoyed our time here with John Ablett giving some great background information to his museum display out the back of the woodwork gallery. The workmanship of the replica armory was excellent. Even left with a few purchases from the gallery. Thank you John.

Great Experience - We saw a wonder representation of wide ranging conflict history which served to remind us of how many folks gave so much to preserve our culture.

An experience to remember! This place is unique with an excellent slant on history! The displays are second to non. The craftsmanship is a joy and a credit to the owners, John is a great guy and nothing was too much trouble. This establishment is a must visit place and should be on everyone's itinerary.

A Hidden Gem - Follow the signs to the last roundabout with Bunnings in front of you and turn left. The sign post is a little misleading! You then come across a well maintained building with a wealth of interesting features in the grounds. The entrance takes you into a showroom of wonderful wooden carvings, sculptures and furniture, the majority of which is made by the owner of the museum. The $5 charge to enter the museum is worth it, even if it is just to marvel at one mans collection. Its a bit disjointed, why would you have North American Indians in WA, but hay ho, this is Australind. Besides this, the collection is well presented and a tribute to one mans dream. I am so glad we took that left turn.

Great collection, worth a look. This is a very eclectic collection of an assortment of wonderful things. It is set up with different stalls, each with a different theme. There is a tee pee erected, which you can't enter, but can see into well anyway. Lots to see, recommend stopping.

Hidden gem.
An unexpected delight! We stopped not knowing what to expect and were blown away by the woodwork and museum, but by far and away the best thing was host - John Ablett, he is knowledgeable, enthusiastic and very welcoming!!! Highly recommended we will visit again.
